There are lots of animal-themed family fun activities for everyone to enjoy, including workshops, science shows, animal artifact handling sessions, story telling and much more. So come along and discover the science of the creatures that walk on land, swim in the sea and fly through the air, as well as the little critters crawling around your own back garden!

Directions

Thinktank, Birmingham science museum is situated within Millennium Point and located on Curzon Street in Digbeth, minutes from Birmingham city centre and The Bullring. It is clearly signposted from all main routes into the city - simply follow the brown tourist signs. The nearest motorways are the M6, M5 and M42. There is car parking on site (charges apply) and the entrance is situated off Curzon Street.

Opening Times

Thinktank is open from 10am - 5pm 7 days a week, except 24, 25 and 26 December, with last admission at 4pm.


 


Please allow 2-4 hours for your visit to Thinktank, 25 minutes for a Planetarium show and IMAX films vary from 40 mins to 2.5 hours.  Check IMAX schedule for details. Tickets are valid only on the day of purchase and can be used to re-enter Thinktank throughout the day.
