Are you a new visitor to the Harcourt Arboretum, who would like a few suggestions for exploring our beautiful site with your family? Or perhaps you visit regularly and would like a new experience? Come and borrow one of our family-friendly Explorer Backpacks from the ticket office, and a world of exploration and investigation will open up to you. Use the activities inside to help focus your walk around our 130 acre site. This year we have two new backpacks available: “Use Your Senses”, for visitors aged 3 – 5 years, and “Native Plants and Trees”, suitable for children aged 6 – 11 years. Our backpacks are full of ideas to help you get the most from your visit to the Arboretum. So come and borrow a backpack, and let the exploration begin! Backpacks are available to borrow from the ticket office on a first-come first-served basis.
